Job Description
Every day Senior Security Operation Engineer is engaged in security alert monitoring, threat analysis, and incident response activities management. Together with the team of the Security Operations Center (SOC), you pursue security events, issue preventive measures, and upgrade the current security.
The cloud services, enterprise systems, and customer data of Microsoft will surely be under your protection. The core duties of this role include:
- Security Monitoring & Threat Detection: Check security logs, SIEM alerts and network for any unsafe activity on a continuous basis.
- Incident Response & Investigation: Organize the efforts of the breach investigation, help the practice of containment and remediation, and record incidents in detail.
- Vulnerability Management: Perform vulnerability assessments, remediation, and patch management.
- Security Engineering: Cooperate with engineers to design and install security through firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Meet the requirements of industry standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR as well as internal security policies.
- Automation & Optimization: Generate scripts and automated processes that speed up security operations.
- Threat Intelligence & Trend Analysis: Learn the emerging threats, attack techniques, and security trends to be one step before that attackers.
- Mentoring & Collaboration: Be the guide of junior staff, share best practices, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to become stronger in security.

Eligibility Criteria
What we expect from you if you want to be considered for this position:
- Computer science, Cybersecurity, or a related field Bachelor’s degree; Master’s is preferable.
- Experience in security operations, incident response, or cybersecurity roles for more than five years.
- The candidate should have a strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, and endpoint security.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Certifications: (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, Security+).
- Experience in cloud security, particularly with Azure security tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Capability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
