Key Responsibilities

1. Security Assessment & Penetration Testing: Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests on applications to identify and remediate security flaws.
2. Secure SDLC Implementation: Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC, including code reviews, static and dynamic analysis, and security testing.
3. Threat Modeling & Risk Analysis: Analyze application architecture to identify potential security threats and develop mitigation strategies.
4. Security Policy & Standards Development: Define and enforce security policies, standards, and guidelines for application development and deployment.
5. Incident Response & Investigation: Lead investigations into security incidents related to applications, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
6. Tool & Technology Management: Manage security tools such as Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
