Job Description

The Fund Accounting Specialist is responsible for accurately calculating Net Asset Value (NAV) of funding finances, making sure all investor transactions and marketplace occasions are accurately contemplated.   • Daily NAV calculation, earnings accruals, fee processing, and security valuation for mutual funds, hedge budget, or institutional funding portfolios.
  • Perform reconciliations between fund accounting information and custodian records.
  • Validate alternate bookings, coins flows, company actions, and marketplace charges.
  • Identify and check out breaks, discrepancies, or exceptions and solve them within tight cut-off dates.

🎓 Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA), CFA, or CPA desired however no longer obligatory.

Experience:

  • 2–five years of experience in fund accounting, NAV calculation, or financial reporting inside asset management or fund administration.
  • Exposure to mutual finances, hedge budget, personal fairness, or institutional funds.

Skills:

  • Strong information of funding accounting concepts and economic contraptions (equities, bonds, derivatives).
  • Familiarity with systems inclusive of Multifonds, Geneva, InvestOne, or SimCorp is a plus.
