Partner Technical Specialist a technical pre-sales professional committed to permitting IBM’s companion surroundings—helping ISVs, channel partners, and gadget integrators architect, demo, and co-deliver IBM answers. By guiding technical strategy and executing joint Proofs of Technology, you extend IBM adoption and improve co-selling success.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Co-create & Architect: Collaborate with partners on solution design; embed IBM systems (Cloud, Data, AI, Automation) into their reference architectures.
- Experience-Driven Sales: Drive PoCs/MVPs and custom demos to exhibit IBM era; guide partner-led income campaigns.
- Technical Enablement: Mentor associate technical teams thru labs, training classes, and technical workshops.
- Pipeline & Co-Sell Support: Identify co-selling opportunities, tune pipelines, support joint interests alongside IBM account groups
🧠 Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s diploma (Master’s desired)
- eight–10+ years in IT—combining technical delivery and pre-sales; 4+ years in Cloud/IaaS/PaaS or statistics-centric technologies
- Strong experience constructing and delivering technical demos, PoCs, MVPs, or labs in agency environments
